Last weekend we headed to Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan for our inaugural camping trip of the season. We were having a great time until Lily starting puking around lunchtime on Saturday. The good news is, I think the girls love camping as much as I do. The bad news is, we can't seem to spend more than 24 hours in a campsite before someone gets sick.
We did get to have s'mores and there was lots of digging in the dirt. The girls were filthy within about 10 minutes of arriving, which was exactly what I was hoping for. Dirty kids = happy kids!
On Saturday morning we hiked the smaller dunes. The kids were troopers and loved the adventure. Then because it warmed up so much, we spent some time on the beach, collecting rocks, building sand castles, snacking, and . . . puking.
We didn't get too many photos because it was a quick trip, and we turned our phones off, but to see the rest, click here. We're looking forward to our next camping trip in just a few weeks. Hopefully we last more than a day.
