Fall Fun

The weather is turning cooler here in Chicago, which is simultaneously lovely and terrifying. We opted to get into the seasonal spirit and visited Goebbert's Farm this weekend for a preview of their fall festival. June and I went last year (Mike had to work) and had a lot of fun. It didn't disappoint this year either.

Check out all of the pictures here, but here's some of the highlights of the day:

Relaxing in the over-sized rocking chair

Emerging from the toddler corn maze

June spent a ton of time playing in the "corn pit" which is essentially a giant sandbox filled with dried corn

Then we took a hayride pulled by a tractor

And finally we enjoyed some fresh roasted corn!

June picked out pumpkins for herself and her baby sister. And Mike and I picked out some fresh produce and apple cider doughnuts. It was a fun day and definitely a great way to get into the spirit of the season!

What a difference a year makes:
