We started October strong with our first camping trip in 2 years. We joined several other families--friends from school--for an epic weekend of running wild in the woods. There were 14 kiddos in all. Other than a rainy end of the weekend, it was a ton of fun. And a much needed break for all of us.
We also returned to our neighborhood park for the annual Pumpkinfest after a year off last year. We picked out pumpkins and had fun with friends.
October was an obnoxiously rainy month. Really hoping for more sunny skies before winter grey sets in. Drop-off in a downpour with 30mph winds is not cool.
And of course, we celebrated Halloween. We carved pumpkins, decorated, and sorted / traded / ate all the candy. We invited friends over to trick-or-treat with us. A good time was had by all.
