My laptop was "broken" for the better part of the spring and summer so I am wayyyyyy behind on blog posts (among other things). I'm going to try to catch up on the major stuff we missed during that hiatus, so you'll likely see a lot of posts full of a bunch of stuff coming at you real soon. You can always see all of our 2018 pictures by clicking here.
In May, Granky and Papa came to visit and helped us celebrate Mother's Day and plat our garden. I'll miss the girls not being at their daycare. Their Mother's Day Spa was always one of my favorite celebrations. And they loved it so much too.
This year I treated myself to a couple of tattoos to celebrate Mother's Day. I've been wanting to do this since June was a baby, and the opportunity finally arose. A friend of mine drew them for me.
This spring we expanded our garden and built raised beds on our parkway. It was so exciting to see how everything grew and it was a fun activity to tend to every day. On Mother's Day, we planted everything. We had no idea if it would be successful or not, and I'm thrilled that it was a huge success. I cannot wait to plant again next year!
June had a pretty great end to Kindergarten. There were so many fun activities, like having Grandma come read to her class and Kids Day--which is where they rent a bunch of bounce houses for recess all day!
We also got to have big girl day and took June to see a play. It was a lot of fun and she's been asking to go back ever since.
