23 Months!

In just one month our little Junie will be 2 years old! Where does the time go? Lately we've been calling her the Junicane. She is a whirlwind of energy. She interacts with her environment so much more every day. Nothing seems to be off-limits as she's able to reach more surfaces and beat some of our child-proofing efforts. : (

Recently, June has shown interest in dolls more and is hopefully preparing to be helpful when the baby comes. She loves carrying around her Elmo and teddy bear (we call him Teddy Dupay). She likes to change their diapers and dress them.

June is also reading more and interacting with the books we read her. Her favorites lately are the ones with animals--as she's learning to identify more and more. The other day she read a book about dogs (Marleys) to her Teddy. She would turn the pages and say "blah blah Marley Marley blah blah blah Marley blah Marley." It was adorable.

Her vocabulary is also exploding. Every day she says more and more words and will often string together 2-3 word sentences. We've lost track of how many words she can say. She's also very into learning names. She can name just about everyone at work these days.
