22 Months

Just 2 months left until our little buggy is 2. She's still a big eater and a heavy weight, but she's also getting taller and stretching out. And every day she says more and more words--I can't keep track of how many. But this morning we talked about where Dad and Marley and Lexi were and learned to say "home" and "work." It's so awesome to watch her little mind learning so many new things.

She's starting to work towards potty training. We got her a potty a few months ago after I noticed she liked to sit on a step stool while I sat on the toilet. She really likes to take her pants and diaper off and is getting better at telling us when she needs to go. But so far she's only peed in her potty one time. Baby steps . . . .

Now that it's finally warm in Chicago (at least this week), we're starting to enjoy many more outdoor activities again. Mike's softball season has started up. Lucky for us, he's got a few early games that June and I can go to before bedtime.

June is also starting to get the hang of her soccer and gymnastics classes. She's participating more and having more fun now that she understands what's happening better.
