18 Months

Little Toots is 18 months today! Sounds crazy to think we're already halfway to her 2nd birthday. In the past few weeks, her mind has been a little sponge. She's picking up so much lately. She's learning all of her body parts and is learning them faster and faster these days. (I'm hoping to get a video of her doing this soon.)

Lately June has been helping us more and more around the house. She loves to help me cook or do anything that requires her standing on her tower (thanks, Gramma and Grampa). She's helped me make salad, cornbread, banana muffins and even pancakes this morning.

She's also getting more and more into books. She'll pick them out and read them by herself or she'll bring them to me and actually let me read them to her. Her favorite trick is bringing the French book to her dad--the one book he can't read!

She is super into my jewelry too. I gave her an old watch which she wears around the house. She also loves trying on all of my necklaces.

But her most absolute favorite thing these days is watching the video of Usher singing the alphabet song on Sesame Street. She dances and does gestures along with it. I got a video of it last night.

Her 18 month doctor's appointment is Wednesday. I'll update this post with her officially numbers then.

Height: 33.5" (91st percentile)
Weight: 28 lbs 6 oz (95th percentile)
Head Circumference: 49.5 cm (100th percentile)
