Springtime!

It was sunny and warm (feels like 62*) here today, which basically makes it the nicest weather we've seen since we were in Florida over a month ago! I love this time of year in Chicago because everyone gets so excited about warmer weather. As soon as the thermometer cracks the mid-40's, windows are open, jackets are discarded and you just see hordes of people outside--walking dogs, having picnics, playing in the parks! After months of frigid and gray days, Chicagoans know how to take full advantage of beautiful weather. June and I were equally excited to soak up some sunshine and headed outside with the dogs this afternoon.

Being outside today makes me so excited for the spring and summer. And even more excited because June is becoming more and more mobile each day. I can't wait to take her to all the parks and watch her toddle around, climbing on jungle gyms and learning to walk and run!
