I've been wanting to take June swimming since we brought her home from the hospital. At first, I was bummed that because of her late-summer birthday, we might have missed our opportunity for this season. But I was wrong. Chicago Parks has 26 indoor heated pools that are open year-round, including one less than a mile from our house. So we took Buggy swimming just before the holidays, and now I can't wait to go back.
She wasn't super excited / happy, but she wasn't upset by the experience either. I think she was just a little overwhelmed and taking it all in. She seemed to enjoy it, and I'm sure that will be more and more obvious as she gets used to it.
(the lighting at the pool was weird . . . her lips were not really that blue)
